Junior Audio Visual Service Engineer

About the role

A growing technology solutions provider is seeking a Junior AV Service Engineer to join its service delivery team in London. This full-time, field-based role involves hands-on servicing, maintenance, and fault resolution of audiovisual systems across a range of commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client sites across London to diagnose, repair, and maintain AV systems

• Perform routine service checks and preventative maintenance on installed equipment

• Troubleshoot issues with audio, video, control, and networked AV systems

• Provide technical support and solutions in real-time, often in high-pressure environments

• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver efficient and professional service

• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of site visits

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Working knowledge of AV signal flow, hardware, and system components

• Experience with video conferencing platforms and digital audio systems (e.g., Dante)

• Familiarity with network fundamentals including Multicast and IP-based AV

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional when responding to urgent service calls

• AV-related certifications or training are beneficial
