You will be responsible for second line engineering requirement for the customers based on the SLA. He/She will be responsible in the first instance to the
Senior Service Engineer.

You will be reposnsible for:
Second line diagnostics and rectification of faults on the customers site.
Liaise with the VNOC manager to ensure fulfilment of open fault reports.
Technical support to the VNOC
Technical support to the VE
Customer Technical support.
Travel to customer sites.
Liaise with US and UK staff for the delivery of spares and repair items.
Maintenance of the current fault reporting system
Closure of fault reports using the correct procedure
Required to complete Audio Visual certification.

You must be able to:
Understand and install to drawings and schematics.
Capable of self supervision
Production and maintenance of technical bulletins.
Proficient in the use of Vortex and ClearOne software.
Liaise with Design and Implementations Manager.
Liaise with US VE for the completion of faults in the US
Support global partners in the diagnostics and rectification of faults on the
customers site
Diagnose and rectify faults on the systems both on customer sites and in the UK office.
Liaise with UK rack build for the effective testing of racks with the US
Responsible for the general husbandry in the UK workshop.
Self supervision

Lead Install Engineer to work across London and the home counties installing AV, VC systems & control systems into Corporate & Commercial buildings . Reporting into the Project Manager you will work as part of a friendly and experienced team of engineers.

The Ideal Candidate will need

2 - 3 years direct experience within the install market, technically you will be able to demonstrate the ability to follow wiring diagrams, solder, crimp, terminate and install an array of technology from control systems (AMX) (Crestron) through to Video Conference (Tandberg) (Polycom) (Clearone), video, switchers, lighting audio and more. You will need to be confident in your abilities and take pride in your work as my client expects the best from its engineers and delivers to a high standard on all projects.
